SKETCH was founded in 2009 from a desire to play new compositions and a drive to explore as improvising individuals and as a group. The London / Devon based quintet was co-created by Roz Harding (alto sax), George Cooper (piano) and John Worth (guitar).

John, George and Roz have worked together in numerous groups and were naturally drawn to collaborate through similar ideas and a shared approach to making music. Their eclectic music tastes and diverse influences make Sketch sound like, well, Sketch! The quintet line up is completed by Jay Darwish on double bass and Saleem Raman on drums.

The music of Sketch has been described as 'fiery, melodic, dramatic, engaging, groove driven, expressive, spacious, energetic' ..... "From our perspective we simply love writing music, improvising within it and performing it live". Sketch will be playing a selection of their own tunes alongside arrangements of some favourite standards.

Expect a dynamic performance from some of the country's most exciting musicians.
