Take 2 is owned by local businessman Russell Hailstone, his fiancée Sandra Wiggins and renowned Teignmouth born Masterchef Barney Mason. The café, bar and restaurant, formerly the Riviera Cinema, is situated opposite the Carlton Theatre on Den Crescent in Teignmouth.

Take 2 aims to create a continental feel where people can drink, eat and relax. The existing bar and cafe on the ground floor has been enhanced with the new restaurant, bar and function room leading on to the terrace, on the first floor. Barney's own unique style of cooking, his strong French influence, and his use of West Country produce, which he feels is among the best in the world, is well worth the visit.
