Steve Waterman is renowned as one of the top British jazz trumpet players both at home and on the international scene, Steve began his career while studying at the Trinity College Of Music, and since then has worked regularly on the British and European jazz scene. He is professor of Jazz Trumpet at The Royal Academy Of Music and Trinity College of Music in London and visiting Jazz Trumpet specialist at The Royal Northern College Of Music and The Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama. Steve also teaches on many summer jazz courses and has conducted numerous Trumpet master classes and workshops ranging in size from small groups to big bands throughout the UK and in Spain, Finland, Latvia and Cuba. Steve is very committed to Jazz education. He has co-written with John O'Neil a highly acclaimed Jazz Trumpet tutor book -THE JAZZ METHOD FOR TRUMPET published by Schott & Co. The workshop will be for all instruments at a variety of levels and will focus on improvisation techniques.

Mike is based in London and has worked with many of the best including Martin Speake, Dave O'Higgins, Jacqui Dankworth, Stan Sulzmann, Julian Argüelles and alongside guitarists Martin Taylor, Jim Mullen and John Etheridge. He is also Guitar Professor at Trinity College of Music, The Royal Academy of Music, Middlesex University, Thames Valley University, The Royal Welsh college of Music and Drama and has given numerous workshops, clinics and summer schools internationally.
