Kris Gayle Duo

Kris Gayle is an experienced vocalist having performed in New York with the Gerry Eastmen Quartet (Gerry is a former Sarah Vaughan bassist).
Her accompanist Viv Rodd has played on the QE2 and whilst on his travels had the opportunity to play with some of the jazz greats including Sonny Rollins, Charles Mingus and Clark Terry. Since returning to the UK he has been the accompanist of choice for the likes of Peter King, Don Weller, Stan Sulzmann and Jum Mullen. He also heads the degree course at Truro Music College.

Humphrey Lyttelton on "Best of Jazz Radio Two reviewed "Dedicated to You" - the Duos most recent CD offering, and said that the duo deserved to be known outside their chosen area of the West of England.
